Children & Adolescent Therapy

As family practitioners, our therapists are extensively trained not only in child and adolescent therapy, but also in working with parents, schools and other significant influences in a child’s life. Together, we define goals for a child’s time in therapy, involve parents as much as the child needs, and make recommendations for additional sources of support.

For children aged 12 and under, we offer play therapy and art therapy in addition to more traditional modalities. Our clients are typically wanting solutions for anger, anxiety, grief, a traumatic event, behavioral issues, or a big change in their life. Contact us with your child’s particular needs so we can determine how best to support you.

For adolescents age 12 and above, we frequently treat anxiety, depression, panic attacks, behavioral issues, communication problems with the family, or even a general sense of being unwell. We also support teens with eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, mood disorders and suicide attempts in conjunction with specialized treatment centers.

If you are seeking court-mandated or reunification therapy, please specify when you contact us.
